Easy 10 minute McDonalds Chinese Nugget Sauce (Sweet and Sour)

Ingredients for 2 p.

  • 1 cup of sugar (70g)
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 1 thrd. cup of vinegar (75ml)
  • 2 thrd. cup of pineapple juice (150 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch or flour
  • 4 tablespoons of ketchup/curry-ketchup

Preparation Steps

Step 1

Put your water and flour/cornstarch in a bowl to mix until homogeneous. (now thickening agent)

Step 2

Put the vinegar, sugar, pineapple juice and ketchup in a saucepan and stir until it lightly boils.

Step 3

Once boiling, add the thickening agent to your sauce and stir until your sauce has thickened to your liking.

If you are done you can skip step 4 and serve immediately or once it has cooled down.

Step 4

Adapt your sauce, for exemple i put more thickening agent so that it coats my chicken and fries, if you like it more runny you could add more pineapple juice. You could also make it more sweet or sour by adding sugar or vinegar respectively
